WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT THE JOB
Community Clubs and Coaches
Within your allocated zone, deliver club-based coach education and development packages to junior and youth coaches. A mix of whole junior coaching group and one-on-one with coaches.
This role aims to positively impact coaching capability and retention, player experiences and retention, coach behaviour, and game day environments.
Your passion and current skill set to develop coaches will be supported through regular coach development professional development and collaborating with other Coach Developers.

- Central District FC Metro Zone
- Glenelg FC Metro Zone
- River Murray Football League
- Port Lincoln Football League
- Spencer Gulf Football League
- Adelaide Plains Football League
- Riverland Football League

Time Commitment:
Engagement in the position to commence from November 2026 with an induction. Peak periods for 2027 season are February to July, approx. 4hrs per week.
WHAT WE WILL LOVE ABOUT YOU
We will love your passion for developing and guiding junior coaches, utilising your coaching knowledge of coaching and interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Elevate/ Level 2 Coaching Accreditation
- Driver’s License
- DHS Working with Children Check
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Available for regular evenings during the football season. All elements of the role will be delivered out of normal business hours
- Experience coaching and/or teaching across a range of age groups
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to achieve outcomes in an autonomous work environment
- Highly developed empathy towards junior and youth community coaches
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Experience developing and supporting coaches
- Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
- Experience developing adults
