SANFL is looking for energetic and skilled Strength and Conditioning Coaches to support the design and delivery of the SANFL Talent Pathways (Male and Female) physical preparation programs. The roles will be assisted by and report to the Physical Performance Manager. 

The successful candidates will support delivery of the physical preparation programs following current best practice including warmups, conditioning sessions, and recovery at a range of training venues across metro Adelaide, including the soon to open brand new High Performance Centre at the Footy Park Precinct.  

These roles present a great opportunity to support elite pathways, work with top end talent, and collaborate with SANFL and AFL experienced coaches.

ROLES AVAILABLE

Strength & Conditioning Lead - Female Talent Programs (1 position)

  • 0.5FTE Part Time (Fixed Term Contract 1-2 years negotiable)
  • Medical Services Coordination
  • Assist AFL Draft Combine and Screening Day
  • ASCA Associate Level 2 Qualified
  • Prior experience with Catapult GPS

Strength & Conditioning Coaches - Support across all programs (2 postiions)

  • Casual (peak periods availability required up to 8hrs per week)
  • Minimum ASCA Level 1 Qualified

Qualification Requirements

  • Currently undertaking or completion of a human movement related degree is desirable
  • DHS Working with Children Check

Other Requirements

  • Availability evenings and weekends
  • Access to reliable transport around a variety of SANFL and Footy Venues.

 Position Classification

  • Classified as Coach Grade 1 under the Sporting organisations Award, however remuneration will align with ASCA’s remuneration guidelines depending on level of ASCA accreditation.
