About the Program

The Developing Leaders Program is a leadership and education program designed to empower leaders to build, develop and grow the sustainability of local football clubs and communities.

$100.00 (inclusive of GST)

Application Criteria
SANFL actively seeks diversity and recognises the many benefits of diverse leadership in football clubs.  Applications are welcome from any individual currently serving as a Community Football Club President, Committee Member or emerging leaders within the community looking to make a difference.

Application Process
Prepare your application

The application will ask you for the following:

  • contact information (name, address, phone and email)
  • details of your experience in a football club
  • summary of key skills and achievements
  • up to 250 word statement detailing why you wish to participate in the Developing Leaders Program
  • contact details of a club official to endorse your involvement in the program

Other considerations:

  • The form also asks for personal information (age range, gender, ethnicity, disability etc). While this section is not compulsory, the information will assist SANFL to tailor course content, personalise our experience with you and assess the impact of our marketing initiatives. Your data will be stored in line with Scout Talent Privacy Policy and will not be shared with any third party. This information will not be considered as part of selection process.
  • Request to complete image consent and release form agreeing to your image being taken and reproduced in any format. The image/s may be used for the purposes of display, publicity and in promotional materials by SANFL
  • Commitment to dedicating the time and energy required to successfully complete the program

After you submit
You will immediately receive an automatic reply acknowledging receipt of your application. Your application will be assessed by a panel. Applicants may be contacted for further information if required. Applicants will be notified regarding the outcome of their application via email by Monday 29 April 2019.
